It’s a late 2013 (63 plate), one of the last off the production lines before the Clubman became far bigger and equally less cool.
Has a full service history and has had a few minor jobs done recently which should mean it has little to be done for a while.
The Clubman is an amazing small (yet also big) car. £20 road tax, cheap to insure, fun to drive, flat roof for carrying extra gear, does 55mpg regardless of how you drive it (but you can get over 60 if you try).
We have had it for just under 2 years, since 55,000 miles, and have looked after it well, my wife and I were the third owners.
It’s an all black edition which looks very smart, with the odd chip and small scratch here and there as you would expect. There are no genuinely unsightly marks, but one notable thing is that we believe the first owner might have worn oversize jewellery which has caused a few marks to the plastic behind the start button. This is visible in the photo showing the mileage, currently at 88,800 and rising daily as we are using the car.
All 4 wheels are tidy with a small amount of light scuffing on two of them, but you can’t really notice it unless you looking closely.
The brakes have just been done (discs and pads on the front & rear), as has the slave cylinder to the thrust bearing, which didn’t really need doing to be fair but I always just get things fixed early when I hear problems developing.
This car is excellent to drive, the extra 27cm of chassis makes it much more poised on the road than the smaller standard length mini. It also accounts for the excellent legroom for rear passengers…!
