The SPORT stands tall and dwarfs other road users. While it may be a tiny bit smaller than the Vogue, this is still a very imposing vehicle, which oozes luxury and style, whilst also being highly capable. This es with Landrovers super terrain response system, hill descent control and low range gearing. This makes the Range Rover Sport hugely capable on any terrain. es courtesy of the 3.0 litre, 241bhp TDV6 turbo-diesel powerplant which also features in many Jaguar models via an 8 speed automatic gearbox which is slick and very responsive. You sit high with manding view of the road from your elevated position, looking down on the world. The seats are generously proportioned and fortable. Both front and rear seats have electric heating and the front seats have electric memory adjustment to ensure you have the perfect driving position. Stepping up into the interior of the Range Rover is like stepping into a different world filled with the highest quality black plete with contrasting white stitching. In keeping with the RangeRovers image as the ultimate luxury SUV there is barely a whisper from the V6 Turbo-diesel engine as the revs rise and virtually no any noise intrusion to the cabin- the car really does seem to isolate you from the outside world in your own leather clad cocoon.
Our cars \"HSE\" specification is already pretty spectacular before you add any extras, but this car has been fitted with several costly options to further enhance the opulence and luxury. Among the luxury goodies are satellite navigation and bluetooth telephone preparation for both the phone and media. The car has a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi which gives among the best quality sounds of any stereo I have ever heard and has been fitted with side steps which look fantastic and aid access to the car. Front and rear distance sensors which give you an acoustic aid during tight maneuvers, while the car also has a rear parking camera - A must have on a car with these dimensions. Meanwhile the car sits on purposeful 20\" alloy wheels which, despite having some minor kerb marks, still manage to look great. Rear passengers also benefit from a flip down DVD screen with USB input for your entertainment.
There revised Sports had a much improved interior over earlier models and our car has been immaculatley presented with a leather-clad dashboard, that is uncluttered, yet laden with hi-tec luxuries to make life behind the wheel as stress free as possible. The 8 speed auto gearbox is an absolute gem and ensures you get the best performance out of the TDV6 engine. Other luxuries include keyless opening and drive as well as an electric tailgate. All these little e together to give you the full luxury experience in this Range Rover Sport.
Whilst there is no getting away from the fact this is a big car at over 2 metres in width and the best part of 5 metres in length, it is actually a fairly easy car to drive. When you park, the door mirrors can be retracted electrically to ensure they don't get hit by passing traffic. Our Range Rover has a total of 8 distance sensors on the front and rear bumpers which assist you with an audible beep when you negotiate tight spaces and it has a fantastic reverse parking camera. The car is also fitted with cruise control, automatic headlamps, and rain sensitive wipers. The adjustable air suspension allows you to kneel the car in access mode allowing easy access to its cabin - it can also be raised to allow additional ground clearance when needed.
