Here I have my Subaru Impreza 1.5R for sale which has been used and cared for by me for the past 3 years. This was my first car, used all the way from learning to drive, to driving up and down from uni in Dublin.
Car is currently just under 109k miles, the vast majority being done on the motorway. Sevices have always been done every 10k miles, and the car always got what it needs. Part sevice history is available before my ownership, and full history from my ownership. Bodywork is in good condition. Some marks here and there which is expected for the age, but no big scratches or dents. This car is very unique, and is different to any other first cars on the road. It also has full-time all wheel drive which makes handling very responsive and also safe at both slow and high speeds. Realistic motorway fuel economy is 40-45mpg, so very good for an AWD petrol car. Cheap insurance can be found for this car, including first-time drivers.
One thing to mention is that as you know rust was never a friend of pre-2010 japanese cars, so don't expect the underside to be sparkling. Some signs of rust can be seen on the skirts, but definitely nothing major or unrepairable. Most of the body rust has already been fixed and sorted in my time of ownership. I will definitely be very sad to see it go, because I have not seen such a reliable and good looking first car anywhere else. The 1.5 boxer engine is fantastic, never had any issues and sounds really good, especially at higher rpms.
This is the higher-spec model which includes xenon headlights, cruise control and a towbar. MOTd till January 2024. All 4 electronic windows, AUX connection, front fog lights, rear LED lights, climate control and air conditioning all are as standard on these cars. One spare key will be provided. Open to reasonable offers.
