Manufactured on 19th July 1951 this Morgan Plus 4 Flat Rad is one that has plenty of character and history to match.Supplied with a Four-cylinder 2088cc Vanguard engine this specific example was successfully campaigned in Australia by Gavin Sandford-Morgan who modified the steering rack and manifold to be more competitive (proof of which can be seen in the document section) as per 'Morgan's in Oz' a history of Morgan sports cars in competition in Australia from 1928 to 1974.
The car was sympathetically restored in Australia, retaining a lovely patina prior to being imported to the UK in April 2012, all of which has been documented and pictures can be seen in the document section below.Since its time in the UK the car has been serviced by Brands Hatch Morgan and has a very comprehensive well kept folder of all receipts and work carried out by the right people.
A very 'usable classic' the Plus Four has full weather protection and is supplied with a tonneau cover and aero screens.
